What are the BEST Disney wedding centerpieces?
Good stories are never too old to share. In this case, we’re sharing Degrees North Images story of their beautiful wedding photography from “Ashley and Ty’s Disney inspired wedding”. But more specifically, we’re sharing the theme of their wedding – of course, it’s Disney. You’ll choke up a little bit looking at these photos. This couple clearly loves Disney. (And be sure to go look at Degrees North Images site!)
To start, the cake toppers. So sweet and wonderful! Carl and Ellie’s chairs are such a wonderful message that this couple plans on growing old together.
Each table had a Disney movie theme. Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Frozen, Peter Pan, Snow White, and The Little Mermaid. How magical and special this wedding was, not just for the happy couple, but for all of the people in attendance. Disney touches the lives of so many people, in so many different ways. Ashley and Ty obviously know how to make people happy.
MouseMingle wants to help people make magical connections like this; to bring people together who share the same love and

Disney Inspired New Year’s Resolutions
Every year we’re expected to make some grand gesture to improve our lives. Resolutions are great in theory, but more often than not, we give up those goals within the first couple months. So, we’ve come up with some Disney inspired resolutions that should be easy to stick to, and will encourage a life more like that of the great Walt Disney!
This year, try to focus on the simple things in life that give you joy. You may not have the latest gadgets or be able to travel to far off places, but take some time to appreciate all the things you DO have.

A positive attitude goes a long way toward making any job bearable. With the right mindset, and some hard work, you can accomplish anything! Make this year your best one yet and put a song in your heart!

Yes, we all have those pesky responsibilities of adulthood, but that doesn’t mean we have to ignore all the joy and magic that’s present in the world around us. Pick your favorite Disney Park, and try to go more often, or schedule in a classic Disney movie night, never lose touch with the lessons you learned as a child.

Ok, “No worries for the rest of your days” may not be completely doable, but Timon and Pumba sure knew how to enjoy life. They made the best of every situation and that is something I think we should all strive to do.

Enjoy the Magic of Disney this Christmas: At Disney World
In a previous article, we discussed some of the magical ways you can celebrate the holidays with Disney, even if you can’t make it to the Parks. Now, we get to talk about all the fun things happening inside the Parks!
We’re going to skip over Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party… for now, because that could fill an article all by itself…but trust us, it’s something you don’t want to miss!!
Disney World Christmas Must-Sees:
Walt Disney World at Christmas is a whole new experience from your normal Disney visit. Almost every Park plays its part to get you into the holiday spirit (ahem, Animal Kingdom)… and they do a wonderful job!
MAGIC KINGDOM
Similar to a Disneyland Christmas, a walk down Main Street will leave you awestruck. Festive Mickey-ear wreaths, shiney toy soldiers, and Christmas-cheer floods the street leading up to an ice castle fit for Queen Elsa herself.
The Magic Kingdom has its own version of the “Jingle Cruise” which now replaces the holiday hole left behind when “Country Bear Christmas” was sadly retired.
A Frozen Holiday Wish
As far as entertainment goes, “A Frozen Holiday Wish” allows Queen Elsa to show off the full strength of her powers, while transforming Cinderella Castle into an ice castle for the holidays… OK, it isn’t really “ice” but 200,000 shimmering lights give the illusion that it is!
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
While we’ll stick by our word not to get into Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we will mention “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade”, that can also be seen during regular park hours after the Christmas party ends for the rest of the year. It is a cute, lively, festive parade that is sure to put you in the holiday mood.
EPCOT
Though it doesn’t quite live up to the Magic Kingdom’s Christmas splendor, Epcot does a great job of letting you see how the holidays are spent by other parts of the world.
“Holidays Around the World” at Epcot Marketplaces showcases a different seasonal snack from five of the Marketplace booths representing Countries around the world. On your journey around the World Showcase, you’ll also find Holiday Storytellers who share the traditions and legends of their native countries.
“Joyful! A Gospel Celebration of the Season”
Joyful! is performed on the Fountain of Nations Stage and brings together the music and magic that the season represents.
Candlelight Processional
One of Epcot’s most popular holiday traditions has to be the “Candlelight Processional” it’s a traditional retelling of the Christmas story each night by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a mass choir and a 50-piece live orchestra, performing seasonal hits.
For the evening show, Illuminations has been turned into “Illuminations: Reflections of Earth Holiday”, that features all the magic of the regular show, with a special explosive “Peace on Earth” holiday finale.
DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Hollywood Studios has been a favorite of many at Christmas time with the the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights drawing people from all over the world to marvel in its greatness. This will be the first year that the display won’t be a part of the Park, as construction for Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land made it impossible to continue the holiday tradition.
This year, however, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” will be doing its best to fill the void. Grauman’s Chinese Theater will be the backdrop for a montage of Disney Christmas favorites featured along with fireworks and holiday melodies.

Disneyland Christmas Must-Sees:
All over the world, Disney spreads a touch of Christmas magic at all its Parks, but it’s been said that no other theme-park can compare to the beauty of Disneyland for the holidays. At both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, goodwill and holiday cheer fill the air everywhere you go.
Disneyland Park
Disneyland does not hold back when it comes to spreading the holiday cheer. Sleeping Beauty Castle is breathtaking this time of year, covered in 80,000 LED lights and sparkling snow-capped turrets. In classic Disney fashion, the magic comes alive with a beautiful lighting ceremony, accompanied by a snowfall of gingerbread scented “snow”. Not only does the spirit of the season touch every inch of Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Critter Country, Tomorrowland, and Mickey’s Toontown, but Disneyland goes above and beyond incorporating the Christmas theme into some of their most popular attractions as well.
Haunted Mansion Holiday
Something magical happens when Halloween and Christmas collide, and the result is nothing less than spectacular! Inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, a Haunted Mansion Holiday takes over the classic Haunted Mansion attraction starting in the fall and carrying over to the winter months.
The entire Mansion is transformed as Jack Skellington (dressed as ‘Sandy Claws’) attempts to put his own spin on Christmas, going so far as to include a stunning gingerbread house display that fills the area with the smell of fresh baked gingerbread.
Small World Holiday
It’s a “it’s a small world” Holiday” turns a Disneyland tradition into a winter wonderland, with snowflakes, icicles, the iconic Small World dolls singing Christmas carols, and a 14-foot tall snowman made of crystal snowflakes and thousands of lights. Outside, you’ll notice roughly a quarter-of-a-million lights twinkling, and that much loved Small World clock sporting a Santa hat of its own.
The attraction makes the perfect backdrop for Main Street’s “A Christmas Fantasy Parade”, which is just one of the wonderful Christmas themed shows Disneyland incorporates into the magical experience. You won’t want to miss out on the “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks display or a chance to meet Ole Saint Nick in Critter Country.
Jingle Cruise
Don’t forget to book passage on the “Jingle Cruise”, where holiday cheer has spilled over the entire ride. Decorations and a new script filled with holiday jokes turn the already silly Jungle Cruise into a fun Christmas adventure!
Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure has some holiday fun all its own with sparkling lights, beautiful garland, festive entertainment, and even a special spot to meet Santa Claus!
From the streets of Cars Land all the way to Buena Vista Street you’ll be met with all sorts of imaginative holiday decorations.
Route 66 features a “Cars” inspired Christmas tree, filled with tires, hubcaps, and traffic cones… all things you would expect from Lightning McQueen’s friends. To top it all off, you’ll find a ‘snowcar’ (because what else would cars build in the snow?).
Buena Vista Street becomes home to bell ringers, carolers, and a beautifully decorates 50 foot tall Christmas tree.
One of the most unique Disney experiences takes place in the Paradise Garden area, where a Latin American inspired holiday party takes place. “Viva Navidad” comes alive with a festive street parade, special meet and greets, and holiday food offerings.
Want a chance to see real snow in California? Then you should make sure to swing by the “Olaf Snow Fest”, where kids can play in the snow and even meet a good friend worth melting for, Olaf!
For a view of the rest of the Frozen cast, the “World of Color–Season of Light” show at Disney California Adventure is hosted by all your Disney favorites, and features a holiday spin on the regular show with Christmas music and a lot of cheer.
